Electrical Maintenance Opportunity

An exciting role has become available for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Calibre Search. The ideal candidate will possess a strong electrical background and hold relevant qualifications such as NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations or maintenance, and 18th edition + 2391 inspection and testing as a minimum.

This position involves carrying out various tests, inspections, and general maintenance works in commercial premises. Ideal experience includes prior work on fire alarms, lighting, emergency lighting, PAT testing, and door access systems. Training will be provided in some areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support other technicians with any major or minor maintenance work.
  • Complete all necessary PPM's and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and as required.
  • Prioritizing and completing minor maintenance and repair work to agreed timescales.
  • Ensuring all tools and equipment necessary to complete minor maintenance and repairs are always available and serviceable.
  • Work with company and client colleagues to ensure laid-down standards of quality are always maintained.

Required Qualifications:

  • NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations / parts 1 & 2
  • Or recognized apprenticeship equivalent
  • 18th Edition
  • 2391 Inspection and testing or equivalent

Benefits:

  • Basic Salary - £35,360 (£17 per hour) to £37,440 (£18 per hour) dependent on experience
  • Paid Travel Time door to door

  • Call Out - 1 in 6 / 7 (£100 retainer paid on top of salary)
  • 23 days holiday (rising to 26 with length of service) plus 8 bank holidays
  • Company vehicle with private use and fuel card
