Electrical Maintenance Technician

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join a leading HVAC Contractor. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background and hold electrical qualifications such as NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations or maintenance, and 18th edition + 2391 inspection and testing as a minimum.
The role will involve carrying out various tests, inspections and general maintenance works in commercial premises. Ideal experience includes prior work on: fire alarms, lighting, emergency lighting, PAT testing, door access systems. Training will be provided in some areas.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting other technicians with any major or minor maintenance work, completing all necessary PPM's and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and as required.
The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. They will also be required to work with company and client colleagues to ensure laid-down standards of quality are always maintained.
The salary for this role is £35,360 - £37,440 per annum, depending on experience, and includes paid travel time, 23 days holiday (rising to 26 with length of service) plus 8 bank holidays, and a company vehicle with private use and fuel card.
