Job Summary:
Tonic Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team in a Residential Care setting for adults with learning disabilities and autism. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care and support are delivered to our service users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a team of care staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our service users.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote best practice in care and support.
- Work closely with the management team to ensure the smooth operation of the service and to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure that all aspects of care and support are delivered in accordance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC Pin number.
- Experience of working in a Residential Care setting for adults with learning disabilities and autism.
- Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users, staff, and external partners.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements, including the Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards.
