Job Overview

This position focuses on addressing commissioning and procurement challenges, managing administrative tasks, and sourcing suitable placements for patients. The role is essential in maintaining precise records and supporting all functions within the Adult Continuing Healthcare (CHC) team.

Daily interactions will occur with CHC and Integrated Care Board (ICB) personnel, hospital clinicians, managers, and continuing care providers. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the Commissioning Manager for Adult Continuing Care.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Essential Criteria

  • NVQ Level 3 in a relevant field or equivalent qualification, or substantial proven experience in a similar role.
  • Extensive administrative or secretarial experience, including the establishment and maintenance of office systems.
  • Proven ability to interact with the public while managing sensitive and confidential information.
  • Intermediate proficiency in IT systems and software applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

Communication Skills

  • Effective communicator with strong writing, data entry, and presentation abilities.
  • Capacity to perform under pressure in a busy environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
