About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join our team at Network Rail.

As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in coaching and advising senior leadership teams across infrastructure on HR challenges. You will be responsible for leading a team of HR Business Partners and leading HR projects that align with our overall route delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a strong business/commercial approach and understanding of business needs. You will have proven experience of working in partnership with senior business leaders to improve people management and have a passion for customer service.

You will also have knowledge and experience of implementing best practice HR solutions to drive a high performance culture and be able to establish professional credibility quickly. Additionally, you will have experience of coaching, influencing and building strong working relationships with senior business leaders.

The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to negotiate and influence effectively with all levels of an organisation. You will also have experience of working with senior leaders to identify, develop and retain talent and have excellent technical HR knowledge.

We are looking for a candidate who can operate in a complex working environment and has broad experience of managing organisation change programmes. A graduate calibre and experience of working within a highly unionised environment are also essential for this role.
