Job Summary

The East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dynamic and motivated Geriatric Medicine Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to older patients in Ashford, Canterbury, and Thanet.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Develop and implement effective Frailty Assessment Unit pathways
  • Collaborate with our emergency department team to improve patient care
  • Contribute to the development of an Acute Physician Led AMU model
  • Work closely with our clinical governance team to ensure high standards of care
  • Participate in service improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
