Adecco is seeking a skilled Warehouse Assistant to join our client's team in East Grinstead. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse, including cleaning and maintaining equipment, organizing and storing glassware, and preparing for daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean and maintain equipment to ensure optimal functionality and cleanliness.
- Organize and store glassware in designated areas.
- Prepare glassware and equipment for daily operations.
- Monitor and check equipment readings to ensure proper working order.
- Previous experience in warehousing or labouring is highly desirable.
- Comfortable with heavy lifting, as it is a key requirement for this role.
- Detail-oriented mindset to ensure cleanliness and tidiness in the warehouse.
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain accurate records of inventory and equipment.
The successful candidate will work a full-time schedule of 38 hours per week, with varying workdays on a week-to-week basis.
- Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
- Week 2: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
- Week 3: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
Working hours are between 7 am and 5 pm.
Benefits:- Temp to perm contract, providing long-term stability and growth potential.
- Hourly rate: £13.64 per hour.
