About the Role

Vision for Education - Liverpool is seeking a skilled Performing Arts Educator to join our team of professionals. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality arts and culture programs to students in secondary schools across the Liverpool, Sefton, and Wirral areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach pre-set Key Stage 3/4 students in a variety of performing arts disciplines, including music, drama, and dance.
  • Work with children aged 11-16 years old, promoting their creative development and artistic expression.
  • Manage an average class size in the absence of a teacher, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement engaging arts programs.
  • Flexible accommodating days to meet the needs of our schools and students.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 days experience working in sole charge of a group of children in the last 10 years.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and other staff.
  • A passion for working with children, promoting their creative development and artistic expression.
  • Have, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS Check that is on the Update Service.
