We are seeking a dedicated Senior Mechanical Engineering Manager to supervise all mechanical service packages for on-site construction initiatives. This role presents a unique opportunity to engage in significant projects across various sectors, including commercial, industrial, and public infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all engineering service operations, ensuring effective resource management on projects.
- Manage supply chain logistics, cost reporting, and procurement processes for mechanical service packages.
- Facilitate communication with clients and consultants to ensure project alignment and satisfaction.
- Conduct comprehensive project reporting, site audits, and compliance checks.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations on-site, along with monthly updates on service schedules and timelines.
Qualifications Required:
- BTEC / HNC in Building Services, along with IOSH, CSCS, and SMSTS certifications.
- Proven experience in managing mechanical and electrical service packages, ensuring timely delivery.
- Expertise in procurement management, labor coordination, and subcontractor oversight.
- Experience managing contract costs and variations for projects exceeding £2 million.
- Strong background in health and safety management and risk assessment procedures.
- Ability to compile and present operational and maintenance documentation.
- Possession of a full UK Driving License and eligibility for security clearance.
Compensation: Competitive salary around £70,000, inclusive of a car allowance, generous holiday entitlement, private health insurance, and a range of flexible benefits.
