Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Nursery Room Manager to join our team at Little Adventures Day Nurseries. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the overall management of your room, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for our children.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train your team to meet the needs of the unit. You will be an exceptional mentor and early years practitioner, with a solid knowledge of the EYFS and a passion for children's learning and development.
Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring daily, weekly and monthly checks in the room are completed effectively and action plans are implemented as needed.
- Monitoring accident trends and taking appropriate action to prevent future incidents.
- Leading and managing your team, providing training and support to ensure they are equipped to meet the needs of the unit.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
- A full and relevant Early Years qualification at least Level 3 or above.
- Proven experience in managing a unit within a similar setting.
- An up-to-date Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding and Food Hygiene certification.
- A clear and valid enhanced DBS check.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels of seniority.

Working Hours
This is a full-time, permanent role, working Monday to Friday. You will be based in one of our nurseries, working in person.
