About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IP Litigation/Disputes Lawyer to join our esteemed team at Eaton. As a key member of our Intellectual Property Department, you will be responsible for handling complex patent disputes and providing expert advice to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act on significant, complex patent disputes, utilizing your expertise in IP law to deliver exceptional results.
  • Collaborate with our expert partners to provide top-notch training and guidance to junior team members.
  • Assist with relocation and remuneration packages to ensure a seamless transition for our new hires.

We are currently acting on several significant patent disputes across life sciences and technology, and we are looking for a talented individual to join our team.

About the Position

We have an opening in our highly regarded IP Disputes team, where you will act on valuable, complex, and important IP disputes for a range of high-profile clients across the technology, life sciences, and consumer industries.

Requirements
  • 1 to 4 years' PQE in the UK or 3 to 6 years' PQE in Australia. We will also consider more senior candidates for other roles at international firms.
  • Experience in IP disputes and/or patent litigation gained at a top-tier or international firm in Australia, or a magic or silver circle firm in the UK.
  • Experience in multi-jurisdictional patent litigation.
  • Previous qualifications in science, computer science, chemistry, biology, electronics, engineering, pharmacology, or a similar area would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong academics.
