The Role: Patent Litigation Specialist - Life Sciences

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate or Associate Director to join our growing IP Disputes team in London. This role will focus on patent litigation within the life sciences sector, leveraging your expertise in this specialized field.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal counsel and strategic guidance on patent disputes involving pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and other related technologies.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies.
  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and experts to develop and execute effective litigation plans.
  • Manage caseloads effectively and ensure timely completion of tasks.

Your Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in patent disputes, with a strong focus on the life sciences sector.
  • A solid understanding of patent law and litigation procedures.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous qualifications in biochemistry, biology, or a related field are highly desirable.
