Key Responsibilities as a Logistics Associate:

As a member of the logistics team, your duties will encompass:

  • Order Fulfillment: Timely preparation of shipments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer requirements. Regular inventory checks and adherence to standard operating procedures will be essential for maintaining stock accuracy.
  • Receiving Goods: Effectively manage incoming shipments, including order verification and precise data entry. You will organize and store items according to departmental protocols and address any discrepancies or issues with incoming stock.
  • Returns Processing: Handle returns in accordance with established guidelines, identifying reasons for returns and managing them within the prescribed procedures.
  • Additional Responsibilities:

Support broader business objectives by:

  • Updating bin locations accurately in the inventory system.
  • Inspecting equipment for any discrepancies or damages and reporting them promptly.
  • Adjusting machinery (light assembly) based on customer specifications and preparing products for shipment safely.

Qualifications for the Logistics Associate Role:

  • GCSE level education or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A collaborative team player.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficient in computer usage, particularly warehouse management software.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and tasks.

Experience Required:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a logistics or warehousing environment.
  • Competence in computer operations and willingness to engage in light assembly tasks with hand tools.
  • A forklift license is preferred but not mandatory.

Working Hours:

This role offers a daytime schedule, typically from 9 am to 5:30 pm or 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Flexibility is necessary to accommodate occasional late shipments.
