Position Overview:
The Senior Game Developer will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer and collaborate with a dynamic team of developers and other specialists to create engaging mobile, free-to-play casual games.
Our development philosophy emphasizes experimentation; we value what resonates with players over rigid adherence to documentation. As a Senior Game Developer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and appeal of our games.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the development of diverse features, including gameplay mechanics, meta systems, live operations, and best practices for free-to-play models.
- Collaborating with various teams to guarantee high-quality delivery of game content and features.
- Mentoring colleagues to enhance their skills, from collaborative brainstorming sessions to creating tools that boost team productivity.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Unity and C# programming for game development.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and refine your expertise.
- Experience in developing multiple commercially successful mobile games.
- Ability to work closely with other disciplines to iterate on gameplay and features.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in animation, 3D modeling, and 2D art workflows.
- Knowledge of shader programming for mobile platforms.
- Familiarity with build automation and testing frameworks.
- Experience in backend development for mobile games, whether custom-built or utilizing BaaS platforms.
- A passion for the mobile casual gaming industry.
