We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team at the Security Service MI5. Key Responsibilities- Work with a multi-disciplinary team to understand complex business problems and collaborate with colleagues to identify needs, challenges, and opportunities.
- Review business processes to optimise and engage with stakeholders to refine requirements.
- Use modelling techniques to structure and understand data and convert it into valuable information, identifying and measuring the impact of change.
- Communicate complex matters succinctly and influence people as you work in politically sensitive areas.
- Manage a small team and play a key part in helping less experienced colleagues develop by stretching their abilities while giving them the support they need to grow.
We are looking for a skilled practitioner with extensive experience in business analysis, preferably with a recognised certification such as the BCS or IIBA. You will have experience in defining and shaping problems, working with a wide range of stakeholders to meet customer needs, and delivering workshops.
You will have experience with delivery methodologies such as Waterfall or Agile, showing how you've embedded change within an organisation and used quantitative and qualitative data to turn user focus into business outcomes.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary of £67,862 - £73,258 dependent on skills and experience, as well as a range of benefits including 25 days Annual Leave, opportunities to be recognised through our employee performance scheme, and a pension scheme.
