About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team at the Security Service MI5. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in helping us stay ahead of the curve by evolving our business processes and delivering technology-focused project delivery and organisational transformation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to understand complex business problems and collaborate with colleagues to identify needs, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Review business processes to optimise and engage with stakeholders to refine requirements.
  • Use modelling techniques to structure and understand data and convert it into valuable information, identifying and measuring the impact of change.
  • Communicate complex matters succinctly and influence people as you work in politically sensitive areas and adapt to complex or uncertain situations.
  • Line manage a small team and play a key part in helping less experienced colleagues develop by stretching their abilities while giving them the support they need to grow.
About You

We are looking for a skilled Senior Business Analyst with extensive experience in defining and shaping problems, working with a wide range of stakeholders to meet customer needs, and delivering workshops. You will have experience in delivery methodologies such as Waterfall or Agile and have embedded change within an organisation using quantitative and qualitative data to turn user focus into business outcomes.

We offer a competitive salary of £67,862 - £73,258 dependent on skills and experience, as well as a range of benefits including 25 days Annual Leave, opportunities to be recognised through our employee performance scheme, and excellent pension scheme.
