Technology Risk Oversight Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Risk Oversight Manager to join our team at Nationwide Building Society. As a key member of our Operational Risk Oversight team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of technology risks across the organization.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in technology risk management, with experience in overseeing the design, build, and implementation of technology through the technology lifecycle. You will work closely with our Chief Operating Officer and Business Units to support and challenge the execution of the technology strategy, ensuring that technology risks are identified, managed, and reported through governance as appropriate.
You will also be responsible for assessing business area compliance against the Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF) requirements, working collaboratively with partners across the 3 Lines of Defence to simplify and strengthen technology risk management practices for the benefit of the Business and Society overall.
About YouWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual who can demonstrate a strong track record of working within, overseeing, or auditing for technology management. You will have experience working with COBIT or ITIL and know how they operate, how to implement, and what the significant risks and pitfalls are that need managing for successful implementation.
You will also have strong critical thinking and interpersonal skills, with experience of working on a regular basis with Director and Exco level stakeholders and developing high-value relationships at all levels.
