Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Biostatistics professional to lead the implementation of small-to-moderate complexity projects within our Biostatistics function. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical trials research, proficiency in coding languages such as R, SAS, and Python, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance our disease understanding through the implementation of advanced statistical and/or machine learning methodologies.
- Contribute to planning and lead implementation of small-to-moderate complexity projects within Biostatistics.
- Present statistical principles, methods, study designs, and/or results transparently to GSK researchers and management.
- Interact with external scientific groups and vendors to contribute to innovation and uptake of novel statistical methodology.
Requirements
- PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a closely related discipline.
- Post-graduate experience in clinical trials research in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proficiency in coding languages such as R, SAS, Python.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English.
- Post graduate work experience in statistical consulting.
- Experience working in high performance computing environments.
