Job Title: Behavioural Support Worker

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioural Support Worker to join our team in a Secondary SEMH provision in Northenden. As a Behavioural Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing mentorship and academic support to Key stage 3 and 4 students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one mentorship to students who require additional support
  • Work with students to identify and address attendance issues
  • Develop and implement action plans to support students in achieving their goals
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to student support
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications or experience in a related field, such as health and social care, psychology, or youth work
  • Ability to work with students who have complex needs and challenging behaviors
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
