Role Overview

The Profs is an award-winning EdTech startup providing higher education tutoring to clients and institutions worldwide. We are seeking an experienced Educational Consultant to join our team.

This role focuses on our University Admissions Branch, where you will work with Oxford admissions tutors to deliver bespoke admissions packages for students applying to highly competitive undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Preparing and delivering tailored admissions packages for students.
  2. Managing a portfolio of clients and providing regular updates on students' progress to relevant client managers.

Required Skills:

  1. A graduate degree of 2.1 or higher.
  2. Tutoring or teaching experience.
  3. Outstanding organisational and communication skills.
  4. High level of interpersonal skills, especially empathy and patience.

Preferred Skills:

  1. Experience in the UK education sector.
  2. Educated at Oxford or Cambridge Universities.
  3. Experience in online tutoring.
  4. Master's Degree.
  5. 2 years tutoring experience.
