Job Title: Apprentice Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team at ProTech Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conducting regular maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance
  2. Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical and electrical faults in a timely and efficient manner
  3. Working with PLCs to diagnose and resolve control system issues
  4. Performing regular planned and preventative maintenance on pumps, valves, pipework, gears, PLCs, control systems, and other moving parts of machinery
  5. Collaborating with the production team to address maintenance-related challenges and optimize equipment performance
  6. Recommending and implementing improvements to enhance the reliability and efficiency of manufacturing equipment
  7. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer with expertise in both mechanical and electrical maintenance
  2. Proficiency in working with PLCs and control systems
  3. GMP experience from a Pharma or Biotech background
  4. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
  5. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  6. Commitment to adhering to health and safety guidelines

You will be working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a focus on ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment. You will be required to work at heights and in confined spaces, and must be comfortable with regular maintenance tasks.
