About the Role

PAS Capital Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team. As an EC&I Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical and instrumentation systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical and instrumentation systems, including manufacturing, installation, testing, and commissioning.
  • Conduct research and analysis to ensure that designs meet the required specifications and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs are aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including engineering drawings and reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure that designs are innovative and effective.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline, such as electrical or instrumentation engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Knowledge of critical thinking and research skills, as well as analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD, Microstation, EPLAN, and AMTECH ProDesign.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • A growth mindset and a commitment to lifelong learning, with a willingness to accept criticism and feedback.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Professional Registration (IEng, CEng) or in view.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices, including ISO 9001.
  • Experience with panel FAT testing and inspection and commissioning.
