About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our dynamic team at Talk Staff Group Limited. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality financial management services to our business leaders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare monthly management accounts for our multiple businesses, including performance analysis and interpretation.
    • Ensure that planned and actual performance reports are effectively communicated and understood by our senior management team.
  • Financial Planning and Advice
    • Provide timely and accurate financial information, analysis, and insights to guide decision-making and inform forecasting and budgeting processes.
    • Conduct financial modelling to predict future financial performance.
  • Financial Governance and Control
    • Identify cost management initiatives and opportunities to improve efficiency through a deep understanding of our business.
    • Work with our Head of Finance to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of financial reports and management information.
  • Project and Operational Support
    • Produce project/operational cash flow forecasts and support credit control routines related to major projects.
    • Ensure the integrity of our control accounts, including WIP, stock, and PO accruals.
  • Audit and Compliance
    • Assist with annual audit preparation and delivery.
    • Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and implement effective solutions.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Collaborate with other areas of our finance team, the Head of Finance, and other reports to the Finance Director to ensure overall objectives are delivered.
    • Undertake ad hoc investigations and projects as requested by our senior management team.
Requirements
  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA)
  • Excellent communication skills internal and external
  • Microsoft Office skills essential
  • Strong Excel skills, comfortable working with large sets of data
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong systems and technical abilities
