Job Summary

The role contributes to the build of a central Treasury function, in a complex and fast-growing corporate structure, supporting the Deputy Head of Treasury alongside a small team of Treasury professionals. Primary responsibility will be to support the Treasury Manager in the management of the daily operational activity of the Group Treasury.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the daily cash position and short-term cash forecasting for the group, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Reconcile group cash activity with short-term cash forecasting from business units, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Approve and release group payments in line with established policies and procedures.
  • Manage daily cash management activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain rolling-term cash forecasts, providing insights to inform business decisions.
  • Manage group intercompany positions and settlements, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and maintain Treasury policies, standards, structures, procedures, and controls, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Ensure accuracy and diligence in all business-as-usual (BAU) activity of the Treasury team.

Requirements

  • A diligent and proactive Treasury Finance Specialist with experience in cash management, proficient in managing large Excel spreadsheets and datasets.
  • The role will engage more broadly in Treasury activity, requiring a candidate with a strong interest in Treasury concepts, including debt funding, investments, and market risk hedging.
  • Effective internal stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
