Treasury Administrator Role

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Treasury Administrator to join our Group UK Corporate Finance function. As a key member of our team, you will provide day-to-day support to the Treasury team, responsible for central treasury activities including managing liquidity, foreign exchange, interest rate risks, intercompany financing, accounting, reporting, and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintain users on various banking platforms, reviewing bank-related correspondence and direct debit mandates, and dealing with ad-hoc user queries.
  • Oversee daily cash transactions and manage cash positions to ensure optimal liquidity for operational requirements, with responsibility for the daily download of bank transaction information.
  • Set up payments for authorization and ensure there is appropriate supporting documentation to enable approval by the relevant banking panel, and implement and maintain procedures for efficient cash management.
  • Monitor compliance with treasury policies such as system access levels and authorization limits.
  • Maintain and update documentation relating to treasury policies and procedures.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with administration teams at banks and other financial institutions to troubleshoot transaction and other issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to provide necessary treasury documents and explanations for annual audits, reviewing and confirming audit findings, and implementing changes to treasury practice if necessary.

Requirements

  • A basic understanding of accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong organizational abilities and a methodical approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to address unexpected issues and find practical solutions.
