Job Description:

EdEx Education Recruitment is seeking a motivated Psychology Graduate to join our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and a strong understanding of psychology principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting SEN students on a day-to-day basis, including those with ASD, PMLD, SLD, SP&L, and other needs
  • Liaising with therapists, class teachers, and the SENDCO to ensure student progression
  • Conducting 1:1 and group support interventions to enhance student learning

Requirements:

  • Psychology Graduate with a strong understanding of psychology principles
  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN (ASD, PMLD, SLD, SP&L) is desirable
  • Hardworking and driven individual with a resilient personality
  • Able to work well within a wider team
