Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dietitian to join our Pulmonary Rehabilitation team in Swansea Bay University Health Board. As a Specialist Dietitian, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-focused care in the community, including community locations, patients' own homes, and outpatient settings.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage a complex clinical caseload, providing specialist nutrition and dietetic advice to the Pulmonary Rehabilitation team.
  • Work independently with patients using highly developed communication skills, based on negotiation, counseling, and behavioral change therapy.
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate evidence-based Nutrition and Dietetic interventions.
  • Provide expert advice in Pulmonary Rehabilitation within Primary Care, including nutrition support and weight management for a wide range of respiratory outpatients and at home.
Requirements
  • B.Sc. Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent.
  • Post-registration training in a relevant area.
  • HCPC Registered.
Desirable Criteria
  • Recognized management/leadership qualification.
  • Recognized teaching qualification.
  • Student clinical educators course.
