Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Patient Referral Administrator to join our team at the NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Gender Dysphoria National Referral Support Service, promoting good customer service and effective working relationships.

Main Responsibilities
  • Receive and process referrals for patients on the NHS Gender Dysphoria pathway, ensuring accurate and timely data entry.
  • Manage correspondence and maintain data systems, adhering to IG standards and GDPR regulations.
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including typing, operating databases, and other Microsoft applications.
  • Review incoming referrals to ensure all relevant information is provided, enabling onward referral.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to manage telephone calls and emails from patients, carers, and NHS professionals.
