Assistant Manager - Food and Beverage Operations

Overview

Working Hours: This position requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, with a shift pattern of 5 days over 7, primarily during daytime hours. Weekend shifts are necessary, but we strive to create a fair rota. There are no split shifts or evening hours.

Key Responsibilities

As the Assistant Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Food and Beverage Manager. Your role will involve overseeing the entire operation, ensuring that our team maintains high standards in service, food, and beverage quality. You will consistently seek opportunities to enhance service and standards for our guests.

Your support will be crucial in fostering a positive workplace culture. This may include assisting with the recruitment and training of new staff or developing existing team members. You will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and National Trust policies.

Additionally, you will be responsible for setting and achieving financial objectives to boost revenue and profitability. This includes driving sales through effective resource management and delivering exceptional customer service.

We will provide you with a comprehensive induction tailored to your role, along with training in food safety and allergen management, as well as any necessary mentoring to support your success. Opportunities for further professional development will also be available.
