We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at the London Bridge Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing expert nursing care to patients with HPB conditions and those requiring liver and kidney transplants.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist nursing advice, support, and counseling to patients and families throughout their care pathway.
- Ensure a coordinated service providing consistently high-quality care for patients.
- Be actively involved in education, audit, quality improvement, and accreditation as an expert resource and facilitator.
- Plan and implement expert nursing care, providing support pre, peri, and post-transplant periods.
- Assist and support the development of services in line with the strategic objectives of the London Bridge Hospital.
- NMC registered Nurse.
- Extensive experience working at Senior Level or CNS.
- HPB experience is essential.
- Transplant experience is desirable.
- Mentoring/Teaching experience.
- Experience in managing complex and difficult emotional situations.
- Knowledge of current clinical advances and pathways of care relevant to the specialty.
- Evidence of continuous professional development in the clinical area.
- Evidence of Advanced Communication Skills (level 2 course) or willingness to complete within the first year of employment.
