Position Overview:
The Children and Young People's Directorate (CYP) is dedicated to safeguarding the welfare, health, and educational development of children and adolescents. Our mission is to ensure that every intervention is impactful, fostering sustainable improvements for children, young individuals, and their families when needs are identified. We are committed to enhancing our services through collaborative efforts to guarantee that our initiatives are of the highest quality and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate initiative within the defined scope of the role.
- Exhibit knowledge of the Signs of Safety framework and possess a comprehensive understanding of solution-focused intervention strategies.
- Effectively implement solution-focused methodologies to achieve positive outcomes.
- Identify risks and concerns while concentrating on solutions to cultivate an environment conducive to change.
Required Qualifications:
- A relevant graduate-level qualification or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven track record of ongoing professional development.
Additional Information:
- Hybrid work model: 23 days per week
- Full-time commitment: 37 hours per week
This role involves collaborating with children, young people, parents, and families to address early indicators of social, emotional, health, or behavioral challenges, aiming for lasting improvements.
