Job Title: Environmental Enforcement Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Enforcement Officer to join our team at Apcoa Parking. As an Environmental Enforcement Officer, you will play a critical role in enforcing local laws and regulations to protect the environment and public health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and enforce laws related to littering, fly tipping, and dog fouling in the designated area.
  • Conduct investigations and gather evidence to support enforcement actions.
  • Issue Fixed Penalty Notices to individuals who breach environmental regulations.
  • Prepare and submit cases for trial and assist legal services in presenting cases to court.
  • Record witness statements and conduct interviews under caution when required.
  • Validate and verify personal details of offenders.
  • Build good working relationships with key stakeholders, including the Police and local authorities.

Requirements:

  • Experience in enforcement work, including security work, is preferred.
  • Knowledge of green services, such as cleansing and waste collection, is desired.
  • Ability to adapt and engage with different audiences and work as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enthusiasm and a positive attitude to work.
  • A full clean driving licence.
