Position Overview
Are you an accomplished CE&I Safety Systems Engineer looking for a new opportunity in the nuclear sector?

Key Responsibilities
Your role will involve reviewing and contributing to various Machinery Safety system documents, such as User Requirement Specifications (URS), and providing feedback to lead engineers. You will guide the engineering design team and assess engineering design work packages.

Additionally, you will collaborate with other engineers to engage suppliers and gather data for substantiating equipment for weighing systems, preparing reports for optioning down selection.

Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Expertise in CE&I Safety Systems, including BS 61508 and BS EN 13849.
- A solid understanding of the Machinery Directive and its deliverables across CE&I areas, including Safety Systems, Environmental Monitoring, Security, Electrical Power and Lighting, Fire Systems, Control Systems, and other services.
- Proficiency in reviewing Safety System documents in accordance with the Machinery Directive.
- Experience liaising with vendors and suppliers, particularly in weighing systems.
- Competence in applying CDM Regulations and IET Wiring Regulations.
- The ability to work effectively within an Integrated Delivery Team and independently, even under tight deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal abilities to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
