Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopaedic Scrub Theatre Practitioner to join our team at Fortius Clinic. As a key member of our theatre team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our surgical services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating peri-operative patient care.
- Working with members of the multi-disciplinary theatre team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Assembling, checking, and preparing surgical instruments and consumables for a wide range of operative procedures.
- Maintaining the safe custody and handling of drugs in accordance with Fortius policy.
- Participating in education, training, and development of other staff.
- Contributing to changes in practice and policies when necessary.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in surgical practice, including perioperative and orthopaedic experience.
- Ability to concentrate for long periods of time and react quickly in emergency situations.
- Evidence of continuous professional development.
- Flexible and adaptive to changing situations.
