Job Title: Orthopaedic Scrub Theatre Practitioner

Fortius Clinic is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopaedic Scrub Theatre Practitioner to join our team at Fortius Surgical Centre and Fortius Clinic London.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating peri-operative patient care.
  • Working with members of the multi-disciplinary Theatre team following local protocols and standards.
  • Assembling, checking, and preparing surgical instruments and consumables for various operative procedures.
  • Maintaining the safe custody and handling of drugs in accordance with Fortius policy.
  • Participating in education, training, and development of other staff.
  • Contributing to changes in practice and policies when necessary.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in surgical practice, including perioperative and orthopaedic experience.
  • Ability to concentrate for long periods and react quickly in emergencies.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
  • Flexible and adaptive to changing situations.
