ASSESSOR FOR ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION PROGRAMS
Full-time position, 37 hours per week.

Salary and Benefits:
Salary range: £28,122 – £38,311
Employer Pension Contributions: £6,749 - £9,194

Holiday entitlement: 40 days annually, increasing to 45 days after 5 years of service (includes bank holidays and seasonal closure). An annual bonus scheme is also available.

Our institution serves over 5,000 full-time learners and approximately 500 students enrolled in higher education courses.

We are among only three providers in England to receive an outstanding rating for apprenticeship delivery under the latest Ofsted inspection framework, excelling in all evaluation areas.

The College offers a comprehensive range of Electrical Installation Apprenticeship standards, from Intermediate and Advanced levels to Higher levels, across our two campuses.

Currently, we are investing approximately £25 million in a new Technology & Engineering facility at one campus and an additional £20 million at the other, aiming to establish an Institute of Technology & Engineering Centre in collaboration with a local university.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality apprenticeships and workplace training to local businesses.
You will evaluate our apprentices in their work environments, striving to achieve swift outcomes for employers while ensuring a quality experience for candidates, alongside fostering and maintaining relationships with local businesses.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and sustain partnerships with local employers.
- Actively participate in the recruitment of new apprentices through engagement with local businesses.
- Hold relevant qualifications at level 3 and possess experience in the electrical installation sector.
- Hold or be willing to pursue the necessary assessor qualifications (TAQA Level 3, with progression to TAQA Level 4).
- Have industry experience in Electrical Installation, with up-to-date knowledge and the capability to deliver training to industry standards.
