Position: International Product Strategy Manager

Location: Onsite in Lincoln

Salary: £80K-£85K + benefits and vehicle

We are excited to present a pivotal opportunity with a prominent multinational organization specializing in manufacturing engineering services on a global scale.

The primary responsibility of the International Product Strategy Manager is to enhance product sales through effective leadership, technical expertise, and business insight. This role encompasses the analysis of market dynamics, comprehension of client requirements, evaluation of competitors, and the formulation of impactful product roadmaps and pricing strategies aimed at increasing revenue and profit margins for both existing and newly developed products.

This position will require regular collaboration with various departments including R&D, engineering, sales, supply chain, finance, and operations to ensure optimal outcomes and to establish the company as the premier product provider in its sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and penetrate new markets to broaden business prospects.
  • Formulate product strategies and refine the product portfolio, including planning and prioritizing projects.
  • Oversee the creation of product roadmaps.
  • Manage product positioning within the market, utilizing pricing strategies effectively.
  • Own the pricing strategy throughout the entire product lifecycle.
  • Be accountable for the product line, steering the development and execution of strategies for improvement.
  • Stay informed about quality, delivery, and production issues.
  • Proactively identify and communicate discrepancies, recommending corrective measures.
  • Manage customer agreements, long-term agreements, and materials.
  • Ensure a consistently active sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate with Internal Sales and Business Development Managers to achieve their objectives.
  • Uphold and promote the organization’s core values and behaviors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required; MBA is highly preferred.
  • 7-10 years of experience in Commercial Product Management or a related field within a manufacturing or engineering context.
  • Experience with a technical product line is essential, with a preference for B-to-B technical products.
  • Demonstrated ability to rationalize a product line while enhancing both top and bottom-line performance.
  • Passionate engagement with the product is essential.
  • Strong communication, networking, and influencing skills are required.
  • Ability to constructively challenge and guide senior leaders and experts within the organization.
  • Direct experience in managing and owning the P&L is necessary.

This role is based onsite in Lincoln, requiring presence five days a week. This represents an exceptional opportunity with a well-established leading company, allowing for career advancement as a Senior Product Manager.
