The role of Global Business Product Manager is pivotal within a leading multinational organization, focusing on manufacturing engineering services across the globe. Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities to enhance business growth.
- Formulate product strategies and optimize the product portfolio, ensuring effective planning and prioritization of projects.
- Oversee the creation and management of product roadmaps.
- Direct product positioning in the market, employing strategic pricing methods.
- Maintain ownership of pricing strategies throughout the product lifecycle.
- Lead the product line, ensuring the development and execution of improvement initiatives.
- Stay informed about quality, delivery, and production issues.
- Proactively communicate discrepancies and recommend necessary corrective actions.
- Manage customer agreements and long-term arrangements.
- Ensure a consistently active sales pipeline.
- Collaborate with Internal Sales and Business Development Managers to achieve their objectives.
- Uphold and promote the organization’s core values and behaviors.
Candidate Profile:
- A Bachelor's Degree is required; an MBA is highly preferred.
- 7-10 years of experience in Commercial Product Management or a similar role within a manufacturing or engineering context.
- Experience with technical product lines is essential, with a preference for B-to-B technical products.
- Demonstrated success in rationalizing product lines while enhancing both top and bottom line performance.
- A passionate engagement with the product is essential.
- Strong communication, networking, and influencing skills are required.
- Ability to constructively challenge and guide senior leaders and experts within the organization.
- Direct experience in managing and owning the Profit & Loss (P&L) is necessary.
This position is based onsite, with a commitment to a five-day work week. It represents an exceptional opportunity to advance your career as a Senior Product Manager within a well-established and leading company.
