Job Overview

The Retail Counter Supervisor plays a crucial role in enhancing the Brand's presence by driving sales and increasing market share while maintaining a consumer-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project a professional and credible Brand image to all consumers, both internal and external.
  • Boost sales through effective selling techniques, exceptional service, and maintaining high retail standards.
  • Contribute to operational efficiencies by adhering to company procedures and guidelines.
  • Understand and meet daily and weekly sales targets.
  • Stay informed about additional sales opportunities, including events and digital channels.
  • Monitor competitor activities and identify missed opportunities.
  • Utilize social media effectively to enhance the Brand image and drive business growth.
  • Implement the Brand Strategy and develop a localized plan for success.
  • Organize and execute local marketing initiatives and events in alignment with retailer activities.
  • Ensure excellence in service delivery by establishing measures for continuous improvement and fostering a culture of exceptional customer experiences.
  • Act as a Brand Ambassador, embodying and promoting Brand values.
  • Manage refunds and complaints in accordance with company policies, ensuring satisfactory resolutions.
  • Leverage digital tools to maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and trends.
  • Develop strategies for consumer recruitment and retention to cultivate a loyal customer base.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of products to provide an industry-leading customer experience.

Operational Excellence:

  • Plan and ensure the highest standards of product presentation, cleanliness, and pricing.
  • Conduct daily reviews of retail standards to ensure compliance.
  • Oversee stock deliveries and related administrative tasks within company timelines.
  • Ensure adherence to all audit processes and take corrective actions where necessary.
  • Fulfill information requests accurately and within set deadlines.
  • Minimize stock loss by following company security policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a safe environment for consumers by adhering to company and retailer policies.
  • Achieve a minimum overall grading of 'Acceptable' during audits related to health and safety responsibilities.

Commercial Acumen:

  • Manage daily stock replenishment and take necessary actions to optimize performance.
  • Maximize sales performance by analyzing commercial reports prior to decision-making.
  • Plan and execute visual merchandising layouts according to guidelines and timelines.
  • Identify stock package issues and take corrective measures, informing management as needed.
  • Effectively manage promotions and discounts in line with company policies.
  • Recognize trends and provide suggestions to enhance product performance.
