About the RoleThis exciting role will see you working closely with competing teams, match officials, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of football matches. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining excellent relationships with external stakeholders, serving as the main contact for competing teams and match delegates, and organizing planning meetings with relevant FA and Wembley departments.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain excellent personal relationships with external stakeholders, including competing teams, match officials, and event contractors.
- Serve as the main contact for competing teams and match delegates, providing key information and troubleshooting issues related to match organization.
- Organize planning meetings with relevant FA and Wembley departments, competing clubs, and other personnel to ensure all aspects of match organization are covered.
- Lead briefings and chair meetings across relevant event stakeholders, including event planning meetings, MD-1 event pre-briefs, and match day briefings/meetings.
- Work collaboratively with Broadcast, Marketing, Commercial, Competitions, and Communications Departments to deliver events, mitigating known risks and delivering required protocols.
- Support the development of sports presentation plans and wider fan engagement ideas for delivery at events.
- Provide administrative support to the wider team as and when required in support of events being delivered.
- Recruit and/or mentor event support staff, including UCFB Event Assistants and volunteers.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of health, safety, and wellbeing can be maintained.
- Experience in planning and delivering high-profile sporting events.
- Experience working within football/stadium environments.
- Experience in managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Ability to understand and interpret event budgets.
- Ability to chair and present to large audiences in meetings.
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office.

We pride ourselves on offering a hybrid working model, allowing you to work from your contractual location for part of the week and remotely as and when required. Our contract with The FA will specify a fixed location of either Wembley Stadium, St. George's Park, or our Processing Centre, unless the role is advertised as a home-based contract.
