Are you an experienced Practice Accountant seeking a role that offers significant opportunities for advancement within a dynamic and expanding organization?

Cameron Clarke Associates is a reputable firm in the Accounting and Taxation sector, currently in search of a dedicated Practice Accountant to enhance their team. We value a strong work ethic and a genuine enthusiasm for the field.

The successful candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and relevant experience, essential for thriving in this role. Key responsibilities will include maintaining accurate financial records, encompassing purchases, sales, receipts, and payments, while ensuring compliance with legal standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Documenting daily financial transactions and completing the posting process
  • Reconciling sales taxes, payroll taxes, and bank accounts at month-end
  • Managing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings
  • Coordinating payroll tasks utilizing BrightPay
  • Performing general administrative duties, including email correspondence and phone inquiries

Qualifications:

  • A higher education qualification is advantageous but not mandatory
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related discipline is expected
  • Proficiency in Xero and Quickbooks is essential
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required
  • Familiarity with BrightPay is a plus
