Currently, they are seeking a Mechanical and Electrical Technician for their bodyshop in Brackley.
Role Overview
As a qualified ATA MET Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Executing all necessary mechanical and bodywork on assigned tasks
- Dismantling vehicles in preparation for the panel shop
- Conducting inspections, troubleshooting, and diagnostic assessments
- Requesting replacement parts as needed
- Reassembling vehicles with new components to restore them to pre-accident condition
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess the ability to:
- Effectively organize workload to ensure timely vehicle readiness
- Work skillfully and safely under pressure
- Adhere to manufacturer specifications during repairs
- Collaborate as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative with minimal supervision
- Maintain flexibility in approach to tasks
- Consistently uphold high standards with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Follow Health and Safety guidelines diligently, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintaining cleanliness in work areas.
While the client prefers candidates with MET experience in a bodyshop setting, they are also open to considering Level 3 qualified vehicle technicians seeking a career transition.
