The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Merchandising Specialist to support our Head Merchandiser in managing the product lifecycle across our international, omni-channel business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the smooth operation of the Merchandising department
  • Forecast sales and stock levels to achieve sales plans and margin/profit targets
  • Monitor performance and identify opportunities for growth, as well as potential risks
  • Collaborate with the Head Merchandiser to develop range plans for each channel
  • Work closely with the Wholesale team on reporting and strategy
  • Participate in trade meetings with the Head Merchandiser and Directors
  • Assist in managing the WSSI and supporting trade plans
  • Review and manage line monitors
  • Develop and implement markdown and promotional activity
  • Complete lessons learnt reports periodically
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Junior Merchandiser or Assistant Merchandiser looking to advance
  • Experience in a fashion retail business with ecommerce, retail stores, and wholesale
  • Experience with planning weekly sales, stock, and intake management
  • Proactive, with strong numerical and analytical skills and a track record of meeting deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships internally and externally
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel and other MS Office applications
  • Knowledge of reporting tools is desirable
  • A passion for retail and strong commercial acumen
