We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Merchandising Specialist to support our Head Merchandiser in managing the product lifecycle across our international, omni-channel business.


The Role

  • Permanent | Full Time | Hybrid
  • 35 hours per week | Hours 09:30 - 17:30

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the smooth-running day-to-day operations of the Merchandising department.
  • Forecast sales and stock levels to achieve sales plans and margin/profit targets.
  • Monitor performance and identify opportunities, as well as potential risk/loss.
  • Work closely with the Head Merchandiser to range plan for each channel.
  • Collaborate with the Wholesale team on reporting and strategy.
  • Participate in trade meetings with Head Merchandiser and Directors.
  • Assist in managing the WSSI and supporting trade plans.
  • Review and manage line monitors.
  • Review, propose, and implement markdown and promotional activity.
  • Complete lessons learnt reports periodically.


Requirements

  • Proven experience at either Junior Merchandiser level or as an Assistant Merchandiser looking to make the next step.
  • Experience in a Fashion Retail business with ecommerce, retail stores, and wholesale.
  • Experience of planning weekly sales, stock, and intake management.
  • Proactive, with strong numerical and analytical skills and a track record of delivery to deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and proven ability to build relationships internally and externally at all levels.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong IT skills, in particular, Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Knowledge of reporting tools is desirable.
  • A passion and interest in retail and strong commercial acumen.
