Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Support:
    • Assist the sales team in preparing proposals, quotes, and contracts.
    • Process orders, track shipments, and ensure timely delivery to clients.
    • Coordinate with suppliers, logistics, and other departments to ensure materials are available and delivered on time.
    • Provide accurate quotations.
    • Generate new business leads.
    • Support the Business Development Managers with onboarding new and lapsed clients.
    • Update sales and customer records.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing updates on order status.
    • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and support the sales team in acquiring new clients.
    • Handle customer complaints and escalate issues when necessary.
    • Convert customer enquiries via email and phone.
    • Contact clients to obtain missing information or answer any queries.
  • Administration:
    • Maintain and update customer databases, sales records, and project files.
    • Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review.
    • Organize meetings with new and lapsed clients, prepare agendas, and take minutes during sales and project meetings.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a sales administrator or sales support agent.
  • Ideal experience from a construction or building industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
