At Mitchell Maguire, we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Executive to join our team. As a Technical Sales Executive, you will be responsible for selling a range of timber and building materials to contractors, housebuilders, developers, and trade professionals.
Key Responsibilities:- Selling timber and building materials, including hardwoods, softwoods, MDF, cladding, decking, fencing, sleepers, and I-joists
- Generating floor plans for customers using the Finnjoist system
- Providing technical advice and guidance to customers throughout the design process
- Assisting the truss designer with truss design
- Dealing with inbound sales enquiries via telephone and email
- Processing orders and making cold calls to generate new business
- Developing and maintaining a strong ledger of customers
- Technical experience with timber or sheet materials, ideally I-joists
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and be a good team player
- Driven, enthusiastic, and self-motivated individual
- Computer literate with Microsoft Office skills
