About the Role

As a key member of the Pinewood Group Limited team, our Plumber (Pinewood) will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our studio's plumbing systems. This includes installing, repairing, and maintaining pipework, fixtures, and other plumbing equipment used for water distribution and waste water disposal.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled maintenance services on plumbing systems, fixtures, and fittings to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Install and repair sanitary ware, point-of-use heaters, showers, and other plumbing equipment in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
  • Carry out repairs and maintenance, including replacing parts to mains water installations and commercial heating systems pipework, pumps, valves, expansion joints, and radiators.
  • Ensure all installations, repairs, and maintenance meet expectations and standards required by regulatory bodies and industry best practices.
  • Perform pipe fitting and replacement duties, as well as lagging tasks, as required.
  • Assist with fuel deliveries and tank dips, as needed.
  • Work within health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment at all times.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent plumbing accreditation.
  • Proven experience working as a plumber in a domestic, commercial, or industrial setting.
  • Knowledge of water regulations and industry standards.
  • Understanding of commercial heating systems, including unvented hot water systems.
  • Computer literacy, including the ability to use a PDA to record timesheets and job status.
  • Customer service skills and a strong team orientation.
  • Self-motivation and effective time management skills.
