About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Assistant Manager to join our team at Loungers. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of our lounges and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the General Manager in maintaining the highest standards of customer service and lounge operations.
  • Drive sales and revenue growth through effective sales building and labour forecasting.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, focusing on talent spotting, training, and retention.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including rotas, team engagement, and customer feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager, or Supervisor in a restaurant, bar, cafe, or coffee shop environment.
  • Excellent people management skills, with a talent for spotting and developing talent.
  • Strong knowledge of sales building, sales and labour forecasts, paperwork and reporting, recruitment and HR, and NPS.
  • Good literacy skills and attention to detail for reporting on KPIs.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust.
  • Self-motivation, working at pace with limited supervision, while adhering to pressure and timescales.
