About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at Get Staffed Online Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing accurate and detailed estimates for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with the supply chain and team members regarding new and current projects.
  • Prepare detailed estimates and purchase orders for all products.
  • Ensure timely completion of estimates and manage bid pricing from all suppliers.
  • Prepare cost analysis and establish and maintain working relationships with subcontractors.
  • Submit tenders in a timely manner and present tender adjudications to seniors.
Requirements
  • 3+ years' experience in construction estimating.
  • A relevant degree in a field such as construction management or a related field.
  • Ability to read architectural plans and develop cost estimates.
  • Strong understanding of residential construction processes and refurbishment.
  • Proficiency with MS Word and Excel, and some estimating software.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.
  • Impeccable problem-solving skills.
