Barnardo's Scotland is thrilled to announce a rewarding position for a Youth Support Facilitator within our North Lanarkshire Youth Support Service. This role focuses on assisting young individuals aged 16-26 who are experiencing homelessness, as well as contributing to our innovative South Lanarkshire Futures initiative in collaboration with local housing and social work departments.

The position offers a maximum of 22.5 hours per week, and we encourage applications from those interested in part-time opportunities or shorter contracts.

This role is ideal for individuals balancing other commitments, such as education or those seeking to gain valuable experience. We are in search of a versatile candidate who possesses a vehicle and is willing to travel across Lanarkshire. Candidates should have prior experience working with young adults (ages 16-26), ideally within the homelessness or housing sectors. The successful candidate will either be registered with the SSSC or be prepared to register upon appointment. A qualification of HNC or SVQ3 in social care is required. Familiarity with the challenges faced by homeless individuals and/or Care Experienced Young People will be a significant advantage, as will experience in case management and maintaining an organized schedule.
